LWD (Little White Dress)

Hello Lovelies!

I really like to keep things casual in my day to day life.  For those summer days that are a little cooler I pair girly dresses with sneakers (usually converse or vans)!  Once the weather gets even cooler, I'll throw on a leather jacket.  The material of this dress is a little bit thicker, which is what makes it a great option for a day with a breeze!

TIP: This dress could be found at department stores as well!  This would be a great way to save some $$, as they are usually having some sort of sale or offer coupons. :)  Also, I get all my Converse at a Converse outlet store.  They have better prices and give you a coupon for your next purchase.

Let's Get Physical

Its one of my favorite times of year... END OF SEASON SALES!!  This happens twice a year (some companies stretch it to 4x a year) and it is when I like to stock up.  Lets face the facts, retailers are about half a season ahead of real life.  This means that you can buy your summer clothes on sale in the middle of spring/summer instead of buying them full price in the winter <GASP!>.  This is my favorite way to keep my closet updated without breaking the bank!!

I've been doing a lot of shopping lately.  Here's what I've I gotten so far for activewear:

Sportsbras : Aerie (1, 2, 3)

Sneakers : Nordstrom (anniversary sale)

Shorts : Forever 21 (1, 2)

I was able to catch Aerie at a good time when all bras were $20.00! What?!... SOLD!  These sales run periodically, so keep checking back and wait.  It is possible to get great deals at stores like this.  My sneakers were from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, which goes public July 17th for you non-cardholders.  These two super cute shorts were both from Forever21.  As activewear gets more popular and mainstream, fast fashion stores like this put out a wider variety for cheap.  Both shorts were under $15.00. 

I also snagged this watch I've been dying to get:

I chose to get this item from amazon for 2 reasons.  1) It was $20.00 cheaper and every little bit helps.  2) I have amazon prime and could get free 24 hr. shipping.  (What a time to be alive).  It was still an expensive purchase, but I tried to decrease the price in any way I could... I still had a lot more shopping to do.

Girls Night Out

I went out tonight with a girlfriend of mine and I needed an outfit to beat the heat!  This breezy tank kept me cool and comfortable for a night out with drinks, while these ultra high waisted shorts kept me feeling covered up and modest.
